Your enjoyment and that of your children is our utmost priority here at the Ferienhotel Sonnenhof ! Here with us, the little ones play a very "big" role. After all, when the children have fun, mom and dad get to truly unwind, and that makes for a really successful family getaway.

Here at the Ferienhotel Sonnenhof, we know exactly what our younger guests want:
variety, fun and action - with new adventures always just around the corner.
While their parents unwind in our wellness area, during beautiful hikes in the summertime and skiing in winter, or perhaps while participating in our recreational programme, the kids can look forward to ALL-OUT ACTION.
In July/August, we offer free childcare from Monday through Friday incl. a FREE JUICE BAR in the afternoon, available to children ages 4 and up.
(10am - 5pm)
Here is a small excerpt from our extensive children's programme:
- Getting-to-know-you games, kids' olympics, dress-up games, nature rally,
- Pebble-hunting tour, wide range of guessing games, T-shirt painting, Indian games, treasure hunt, salt-dough baking and painting
- and so much more, all awaiting the kids here at the Ferienhotel Sonnenhof.
Children can pick and choose from their own kids' menu at dinner. Free horseback riding is available from May until October. The Zell im Zillertal Tourist Office also offers a free children's programme from the end of June until October for all of our Sonnenhof Kids.
And there are great things in store for teens at the Ferienhotel Sonnenhof as well:
- Billiards, table football, table tennis, air hockey,
- Trampoline, laptop to borrow with W-LAN access (extra fee)
- Beach-volleyball courts at the amusement park ...
For the kids, the winter brings a selection of splendid children's slopes. Great places to play and work off some of that youthful energy. The ski schools of the Zillertal Arena are constantly hosting children's programmes. For example, there is a daily hotel pick-up service for children, a Witches' Safari, balloon launch, kids' snow-rafting, a ski disco and, of course, the ski kindergarten! At the end of every ski course, there is always a big racing event followed by a medals ceremony.
